Who runs this site
lakeplastiras.com is run by Stelios Strongylis, Athens, Greece, as a private individual. For anything about your data, use the contact form at the bottom of this page.
The contact form
When you send a message we receive your name, email address, the topic you picked and your message. We use them only to answer you. The message is delivered to our inbox by Resend, an email delivery service. We keep messages only as long as needed to reply, and delete them within 12 months.
Analytics (only if you accept)
If you click Accept on the cookie banner, the site loads Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which villages and places people look for. Google sets the cookies _ga and _ga_* (kept up to 2 years). If you click Decline, or ignore the banner, Google Analytics is never loaded and no analytics cookies are set. Nothing is sold or shared with advertisers.
Your choice and other storage
Your Accept or Decline choice is saved in your browser (local storage), not on our servers. If you switch language, a small cookie (lp-lang, 1 year) remembers it. The weather on the site is fetched by your browser directly from Open-Meteo, which receives your IP address for that request. Our host, Vercel, keeps short-lived server logs, including IP addresses, for security.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to its use. Write to us through the contact form. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
Terms of use
Listings are checked in person, but opening hours, prices and phone numbers change. Contact the business before you visit. Links to other websites, maps and social media are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content. Text and photos on this site belong to lakeplastiras.com unless stated otherwise; please ask before reusing them.
